    Easy to use, lots of features, great customer service., October, 2016

    I have had only positive experiences with this bank since I joined as a teenager. Their customer service reps and bankers are always polite and helpful. Whenever I decide to add a service (such as opening a joint account or applying for a credit card) the process has been easy. One time my debit card information was stolen and BMO Harris handled the situation greatly. They told me exactly what I needed to do and froze my account right away. They refunded they money that was stolen within a week and generally put my mind at ease. I also really enjoy the online chat function for when I am unable to call or go in to a location. They have always been able to answer my questions via chat, whether it is about a charge on my account or a question about the status of a payment.

    They are no longer friendly with their customers, October, 2016

    Everything changed when Harris took over this bank. Their staff was reduced and they stopped offering good customer service. I also noticed that the fees went up. The banker I had worked with previously was replaced shortly after the take over. I had to call several times to find out the name of the new banker on our file. In the end, I met a new banker who knew nothing about me or my business or my family. he was disinterested and not easy to talk with. I am not forced to consider moving all my accounts to some other bank and no longer going to this bank. They don't seem interested in retaining customers or finding new customers. I would not ever recommend Harris Bank to anyone I know. There are far better choices.

    My experience has been good they offer good services for a good cost, October, 2016

    My experience with this bank has been good it has really good customer service such as when i had a problem using there online banking feature i just had to call and help me step by step with the online banking features of their bank. I also think the service fee they charge is very reasonable with it being twelve dollars a month when you have under five thousand dollars in your bank account. I do not know much about about the services they provide besides the checking account i have but i would assume they are as good or better then the services i currently use right now. So overall my experience at the bank has been very good and i think i would recommend them to my family and friends

    My experience with my bank has been nothing but positive., October, 2016

    I first joined this bank because my fiance was already with BMO Harris. I was skeptical at first because I had heard bad things about them in the past, however, they had a lot of locations close to where I live so I thought I would give them a try. I am so glad that I did. I can't remember ever having a problem with them. Any time we have moved or needed some personal assistance their customer service has been top notch, both in a branch location, and on the phone. When I closed down my savings account, they didn't hassle me or try to sell me on some other products, they actually just listened to me and my reasons why and quickly closed my account for me. As far as fees go, I don't even think I've had any apply to me. I don't ever overdraw my account, so I can't really speak on those fees. Overall, BMO Harris has been a wonderful bank, and I can't ever see myself banking anywhere else.

    I have enjoyed being a member of this bank., October, 2016

    I have liked using this bank for the last ten years. When I opened a checking account to prepare for college, the bank made it an easy process. When I got to college, I found that there were no branches or ATMs operated by my bank. Upon calling my bank and explaining the situation, my bank was able to waive the ATM fees until I left the college. Later I opened several savings accounts with my bank and each time the personal banker was friendly and helpful. I later closed two of the savings accounts because I needed the money and was unable to visit my preferred branch. The bankers in the other branch were helpful with the closing of the accounts and informing me of my options should I decide to open another account. A few months later, I returned to the branch to open a Money Market account and I am currently thrilled with the checking and Money Market accounts that I have with my bank.

    My overall experience has been pleasant and efficient., December, 2016

    I started with this bank when they acquired M&I Bank in a purchasing deal. I originally only had a savings and checking account with them, both of which were controlled by my father. As I transitioned into adulthood, transferring accounts into my name has been very easy. The representative I work with knows my family well and rec cinemas things that will help me, even if they are not through his branch directly. For example, when I bought my car last year, I went to BMO Harris to look about getting an auto loan with them. After a quick conversation a search of what they offer, my representative told me that using his services would cost me more money in the long run. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

    The bank and its employees are much like other banks., January, 2017

    I chose the bank initially due to the fact that it was my previous employer's choice of bank to direct deposit my salary. It offered, at the time, low fees and gave a few extra perks such as no fee atm withdrawals of out of network atms. I the checking account in other respects was pretty standard.

    There are many local branches so it is convenient to do face to face banking. Also, their website and other services that are online are always adequate. I can do online banking, online chats for immediate customer support with no issues.

    All in all, the bank and banking experience with Harris Bank is fine, despite the fact that it was bought out by a foreign country (Canada). I stick with the bank since it'll be too much of a hassle to change to another one.
