    Overall my experience has been good. Not outstanding but good., October, 2016

    I have been a member of this credit union for over 30 years. I have not used it as my main bank until this past year. It was just an account that I occasionally had money in savings. Last year I became unhappy with my other credit union, and so I transferred my business over to this credit union. I now do my checking, savings, credit card and this past month opened a home equity line of credit. I did have some glitches in the application process for the HELOC, and it did take several weeks longer than they had promised. I chalked up the issues with perhaps a poor employee and not the credit union's fault. In the end, we did get the loan fine and the interest rates are very good. The one thing I do not like is the fact that there is a yearly fee. There was no fee to open it however. When I visit the credit union I am pleased with the friendliness of the employees and their willingness to help me.

    The customer service is great, and the experience is simple and relaxed., October, 2017

    Columbia Credit Union has been an incredibly easy bank to work with. Every time I go in there, they're willing to answer any questions I have and they are never pushy. They never make me feel silly for asking questions, and they don't try to sell themselves to me or services I don't want. I never feel stressed if I have to go to the bank for any reason. They make having savings and checking easy since they have a mobile app and texting service that allows you to not only check your balance, but make transfers between accounts as well. My fiance opened up an auto loan with them, and that was also an incredibly easy and stress free experience for him. They've been flexible with him on making payments, which has been really great.
