I've had a very positive experience, September, 2016

This bank is very great to work with. They are local and make sure to take an interest in the local community. They give back to the community through fund raisers. Their interest rates are lower than other banks. Their online presence could be a bit better, but it's not anything to really complain about. The tellers are very friendly and often recognize me. They have branches in grocery stores that are very convenient for me. The also offer services for creating wills and trusts and selling insurance. All my financial needs can be met by this credit union. I've been doing business with them for a long time and plan to continue to bank with them for a long time. I am very pleased with their products and services.

My overall experience with this bank has been of decent satisfaction., October, 2016

After I started my first job, this was the bank that I started with since my parents were both using them. I opened up a checking and savings account with this bank by the time I was about 18 years old. I've only had to contact them a couple of times (once when I lost my debit card and another time when I needed to dispute a charge). They were very friendly and quick when it came time to freezing my card and re-sending me a new card, but the dispute process was definitely a hassle. I had ordered a product online, but hadn't received it. The merchant was unresponsive to all of my calls and emails, so I reached out to the bank for help in disputing the charge. It took a few weeks for the issue to be resolved, and I felt as though my bank didn't want anything to do with the matter. This incident occurred about five years ago, however, which is when I didn't realize the importance of using a credit card rather than a debit card when making online purchases.

Overall, my experience has been fine. I have more than enough money in my bank to avoid the monthly charges, but I definitely agree that their monthly fee is expensive and I would definitely leave this bank if I didn't have more than enough money in the bank to avoid the charge.
