The experience has been very positive, and I enjoy the group of people who work there., September, 2016

I chose Chase because of its size, and the idea that if I travel for work and need to get money, it will be likely that at other airports and cities across the country that Chase will have many available locations. It makes it easier to do business with a bank of this size. There are several local locations including some ATM's at local supermarkets. In addition, I already had a credit card with Chase and found that their online site was very easy to use, and quite attractive. I moved to this area about 2 years ago, and I didn't want to go with a local bank that I had not heard of and did not know of its reputation. I believe that Chase offers nearly every type of banking and lending service available, which is also a plus.

It's been very good., September, 2016

I moved to Chase bank after the bank I had been with for years beforehand decided to merge with another bank from out of state. This caused a whole mess of problems with all my accounts, including my debit card, my checking account, and the people who worked there that I was used to interacting with. So, I decided to leave that bank for a bank that I knew would be available anywhere I went and wouldn't go and change itself suddenly. Chase was the biggest bank available in town so I went there. The application process was simple and easy. I was approved immediately and I received my new debit card quickly. Their online website and mobile application are well designed and easy to use. I moved to another city and I didn't have to worry as Chase had multiple branches in my new city as well. I've been very satisfied with Chase thus far.

I have had a fairly good experience with this bank., September, 2016

Chase Bank has been good to our family. My husband already had an account with Chase when we got married, so I transferred my money there as well. It was an extremely easy process and was complete in a matter of minutes. I love the many locations and ATMs in our area, but my favorite thing about Chase Bank is their online programs. Paying our bills is extremely easy. We can set up automatic transfers or automatic payments. I appreciate the fact that if the bill is not sent on time, they will cover the late fees themselves with very few questions asked. The few times we have gone into a branch everyone has been very friendly and we have not had to wait very long at all to speak with someone. Overall I would give them a 5 star rating.

My experience with this bank has been great so far., September, 2016

When I opened my account back in 2010 I was looking for a secure place to begin depositing my earnings. I found my local Chase Bank to be the best choice. As soon as I entered I was greeted by an associate and asked if I needed help. I let her know that I was looking to open a checking account and she immediately said just follow me and I can help you out. We went over to her cubicle and asked me for some information regarding my identity to open my checking account. After about 15 minutes she came back to the cubicle with a folder explaining all the features of my account and my newly printed debit card. I was stunned at how fast and easy it was to open an account. I have held the same account since then have never looked back. The only fee I can think this bank charged for checking accounts is $12 a month if you have less than $500 dollars in your account. Overall I am very satisfied with my bank.

Banking with Chase has been easy, reliable, and useful., September, 2016

Chase bank is, in my opinion, one of the better banks to do business with. They have numerous branches in accessible places. They offer great products and promotions. I always receive promotions for opening an account with them. Their famous Chase Freedom credit card is one of the best cards to use because of the high cash back. Their mobile application is really easy to use and straightforward. I don't see other banks having a similar application that allows me to do everything without ever stepping foot into a branch. If I do step into a branch, the tellers are helpful and I am usually assisted very quickly. The atmosphere is nicer than other banks. The employees seem to actually enjoy their work. Chase Bank just seems to offer products and services that others do not.

Generally my experience has been well, as long as I don't experience any problems., September, 2016

I originally had an account with a Washington Mutual bank, which was very nearby my home. At some point Chase bought all the WaMu banks, and I was added into the Chase banking system. Initially they increased my potential fees (i.e. for an overdrawn checking account), and were suddenly very inflexible about these additional restrictions and charges. In time I got used to their service, and they seem to be much more lenient with their overdrawn fees, as my account has been overdrawn once or twice in the last few years, and I wasn't assessed an additional fee. I really liked the fact that Chase Bank was one of the first banks to adopt cutting edge customer services like mobile banking, and depositing checks online through an app on my iPhone. For this convenience, I have kept my account, and am generally content with the service. I would like to see higher interest rates on their savings accounts though.

It has been great and personal, September, 2016

I opened an account with this bank because my husband and in laws had accounts with this bank so I received extra benefits. The person who is in charge of my account has been very helpful to me and has called me to help me with issues she has seen that I have had. She invited me to come by her office so she could meet me even though I live across the country. She had all the resources available to help me with any questions I had and to help me with a card issue I had encountered. Since my account is linked to my in laws account I get free checking and my debit card does not charge any atm fees. It is very convenient and I am glad the bank picks up the fees for me.

Decent bank that charges outrageous fees, September, 2016

I am pleased with most of the services and availability of branches and ATMs, but the overdraft fees and how they are implemented are crazy.

As an example, you make 3 purchases in a day for a total of $45.00 ($12.00, $17.00 and $20.00) and then a check also comes in for $56.00 and your balance $50.00. It's an oversight on your part because there was a mismanagement of funds in your account so you expect a one-time overdraft for the $56.00 check. Wrong! The bank takes the HIGHESTamountfirst no matter the order the bank receives the debit request. This means that you are charged 3 overdraft fees of $35.00 each for the smaller transaction because the bank takes the highest amount first. The practice is deceitful and apparent of their money grubbing attempts to steal as much away from customers as possible.

It's been okay so far., September, 2016

When I started to bank I was with Washington Mutual, who was the bank my mother used. Chase ended buying WaMU and that's how I came to be with them. Honestly, I preferred WaMu, awesome customer service, super low fees. Chase did make the transition go smoothly and hassle free. Chase has excellent customer service, anytime I walk into a branch or have to call them, it is always a polite person who goes above and beyond to help. I don't like that Chase seems to "fine" you for every little thing. If you don't deposit enough money in the bank monthly that's a fine. And Chase didn't used to fine for that a few years back. Also I hate the overdraft fee, it's only happened to me a few times but their fee is high. 35 dollars that they add to your account immediately. I don't know if I would change banks, one because it would probably be a hassle and two I don't know if there is anything better out there.

It's been quite good actually - I chose them first a long time ago, when I opened my first bank account and I've been with them ever since., September, 2016

As mentioned above, I've been with them for a long time,in different circumstances. I was a student when I first opened a bank account with them, and they were helpful and welcoming. After that, as I started my life as an employee in a firm, then as I also started a small business, I chose to remain with them after looking around and realizing that what they were offering in terms of fees and accounts was pretty much standard, or better. On top of it, I had always had consistently good service with them, in all their branches, and in all the various situations I faced during my time with them. All the people I've met at Chase have gone out of their way to help me, offer additional services at no extra cost, and always seemed genuinely interested in working with me. Overall, a very good experience, and I'm not saying that because I'm particularly enamored with banks generally - I rather consider them a necessary evil. But Chase has really been helpful and flexible for me, and I've got to acknowledge and appreciate that.

I have not had any issues., October, 2016

There is a Chase location about 10 minutes from my house. My mother banked there because she did not own a vehicle and it was very convenient. There was also many spanish speakers there to help her with banking. Once i turned 16, my mother decided to make a savings account for me. She would deposit money for me every time she had money to spare. As i got older i started working and putting my own money in there. I started to get direct deposit from my job and the money was always available as soon as my job sent it. Any time i had questions i would go into the bank and was promptly helped. Over time i preferred calling the toll free number to resolve issues. Chase was always very friendly and quick to respond. I started to transfer money from different bank accounts in order to save and make payments. The chase website made it very easy to do this.

Overall i like Chase because we have a long history and it has never seriously let me down. I plan to keep it.

It is a decent bank, October, 2016

I chose chase bank when I was in college because I wanted to to pick a bank that had a location close to my university so that I could visit the bank whenever I needed to. I use the chase app more than any other program that chase offers because it allows me to constantly monitor my funds and to see how much money I have in my bank accounts. I also love that chase allows me to use direct deposit with my checks because it allows me to not have to visit the bank that often. I appreciate that chase is adding many new latest technology features, however I do not entirely trust some of them such as taking pictures of your checks and then uploading them because I don't trust them.

My overall experience has been consistent and very good., October, 2016

I first got this bank account when I just got into college. I went with my father to open the account. It was to be used as my saving/checking account while I was away for college. Over the years I got credit cards through them that were very good with great reward earnings. Now most of my credit cards are through Chase. I love how convenient it is to pay my credit card bills directly from my checking account. I also love the mobile app because i can deposit checks right there on the go if I ever receive them for rebates and etc. I've been with them so long I just don't feel like changing banks. Going through a credit check and having to redo all my automatic bill payment accounts. Just seems like a hassle. The only thing I hate is the monthly feeds for having the premiere checking account. Which they implemented a few years ago.

    Better then expected, October, 2016

I came to Chase from another back and my experience has been more to be grateful for. I had come form a bank that was giving me fees every day I turned around. But Chase eased my pain. I started off with now fee to have my checking account, which I think most banks should be like that. I was meat with start up thanks in my account to because of how much I deposited. I think thats where my loyal started growing. The customer service made me feels like a valued customers rarther then just one wanting to take my money from me. The online department is always working and accurate to any balance I have and I need not worry about it being false.Everytime I go into the bank I am helped fast and securely. I would recommend everyone use Chase.

I have always had a good experience with this bank. They have never caused me in problems., October, 2016

When I go to this bank they always work fast and efficient, making sure that they do everything properly and not to keep me waiting. If they do take longer than they should, they always apologize and make sure they are doing what needs to be done. They are always friendly to me and I have never has any issues with them. They have updated their website and every time I go to my account online I am really impressed with it. Everything is readable, organized, and I never have any trouble locating anything that I need. If you go into their bank, they sometimes have a long line and make the line smaller very quickly while fulfilling everybody's needs with a smile. I am very satisfied with Chase bank.

I have had a very positive experience with this bank., October, 2016

When my husband and I moved to New York City from Nashville, TN in 2009, we realized that we would have to switch banks, and quickly. We looked around and thought that Chase looked like our best option, so we went to a branch in the neighborhood where we were temporarily staying and started the process of setting up our accounts. The staff was extremely helpful, both with the setup process and with very event specific issues. We needed certified checks and banking history and all sorts of things in order to sign a lease for an apartment in the city, and we didn't have a single problem obtaining those items from any location.

My main complaints are the abysmally low interest rates on the savings accounts, and the fact that there are no locations accessible to Nashville, a city we visit often and hope to move back to at some point in the future, at which time we will have to change banks again.

Chase has excellent customer service and benefits to consumers., October, 2016

My husband and I have a joint checking account with Chase. He chose this bank because It had a checking account created just for veterans. This account offers benefits that are not always available to regular customers. I like this bank because it is convenient. I never have to look far to find a Chase banking location. The main reason I enjoy this bank is that they allow you to do mobile banking. You can deposit a check simply by photographing the front and back of the check. This allows your money to clear quickly. I'm also impressed with the excellent customer service we receive at Chase. There have been several times that they have reversed overdraft fees because we deposited more money in our account. Most banks will not take the time to do that for their customers. Excellent service and benefits are what keep me as a loyal Chase customer.

My overall experience with this bank has been very positive., October, 2016

I like this bank because (depending on geographic region) there are always atm's and locations within a short driving distance, at least where I live in the midwest. Additionally, they have good account options for students, which is when I started doing business with them. And their credit card options are pretty attractive as well, plus easy to apply for or you may even be pre-approved if you have an account with them for a bit.

One thing that was annoying to me are the fees charged when you fall below a certain balance/ do not use direct deposit, but I think this is pretty typical of most banks and it isn't a super high fee or anything.

As far as customer service goes, I have always had a positive experience with the bank over the phone, in person, and online.

They have always been able to take care of my needs, so I am happy with the service., October, 2016

When I needed to open a new checking account for my business, this was my first stop. I sat down with an account manager to review what my business needs were, and he was able to recommend a checking account that would work for me. We sat together for about an hour to review what documentation I would need in order to get a business checking account set up, and he helped me to figure out where to get all of the needed documents. He also walked me through how to get online access set up for both myself and my business partner. I was appreciative of the time he took to explain the fees associated with the account. He also made sure that we got the correct number of signatories on the account.

Overall, relatively innocuous, which is good., October, 2016

I became a customer of Chase because the first company I worked for had a relationship with Chase and we were able to get good deals on accounts. This is probably 20 years ago now. I have been with them ever since, though I only have a checking account there. They have been perfectly acceptable and more or less invisible to me during my time with them. I don't have special needs or requests, so my relationship with them is relatively simple and basic. But whenever I have needed attention they have been able to accommodate, whether dealing with passports or money orders or rolling bag fulls of change that I want to convert to bills, Chase has done it all (though I had to roll the coins- I dont like that they don't have a change machine).

Good experience. There are no surprises and everything is laid out and explained to you at the time you open an account/loan., October, 2016

I have been with Chase bank for nearly 10 years now. In the beginning, I opened an account with them because there was a branch near me. Then more and more branches started popping up throughout my area and the surrounding area which makes it very convenient. They also even have Chase ATMs at some drug stores (Duane Reade) now.

In my experience, they are also pretty lenient regarding some of their fees. In the past, I was charged an account maintenance fee because my account fell below the minimum balance but all it took was a simple phone call to reverse the fee. Can't really say much about the other fees they charge (out of network ATM, wire fees, misc, etc.). With so many Chase ATMs around there really is no excuse for one to incur an out of network ATM fee. The other fees suck but that's the reality of business.

The current interest rates on savings accounts offered by this bank are REALLY low compared to the rate I received when I first opened my accounts but at the same time all banks have low rates nowadays. On the other hand, I recently obtained a home loan with the bank and got a really good 30 year interest rate so that's a win there. I have also recommended Chase to some of my friends who are also in search of a good bank for a mortgage.

Overall, Chase operates as any other bank does and I would rate them as good to very good given how convenient they are with so many locations around NYC. I do most of my banking online now but if there was ever a need to visit a branch, there is one less than 2 minutes away.

This bank makes me feel like I'm an unimportant customer., October, 2016

I have not liked my experience at this bank. They charge fees for everything. There customer service is not good. They tellers are not polite. They make me feel as though because I don't make huge deposits, I'm not important to them.

The only things I like from them is that I can make deposits at ATM's and deposit checks by phone.

But, I have opened and account at another local bank as well. It is night and day compared to Chase. My other bank has great customer service, lower fees ,and they make you feel like they care. When you talk to someone on the phone at the other bank, you feel like you could call back and tell someone there that you talked to so and so and they'd know who you were talking about. When you call Chase, and have a rep handle a problem, you can not call them and ask to speak to the same person who was handling the issue. They are too big for my taste. I will eventually be closing this account when my other bank starts taking deposits by ATM.

Although I've been disappointed in a recent fee increase, my experience has been good enough to stick with them., October, 2016

My business partner originally suggested that we use this bank because he had an account with them. It made it easy for us to transfer money to the business account or to each other. Aside from that, my experience was quite good. The staff at every branch has always been friendly, and their mobile app has always had the latest features which make it easy to use. I wish they had better interest rates and that my credit card had a lower rate and I don't like the recent fee increase that I received. But, overall I am pleased with Chase. They also have a lot of locations nationwide. I had a second bank account with Bank of America. But with my recent move to Wisconsin where BofA does not operate, I had not much of a choice but to only use Chase. Chase also has a branch location near my house which I find very useful.

They are convenient, but the monthly fee is a problem for me., October, 2016

I signed on with Chase many years ago because they were offering a $100 promotion for opening a new account. I have been generally satisfied with them, except for the $12 monthly checking account fee for account balances below $1,500. I am not wealthy, and the fee is a struggle for me to pay sometimes. I feel that it's unfair that they charge their less financially well-off members such a substantial fee, while the wealthier ones get the service for free. I have also followed Chase in the news, and learned that they have been less than ethical in their financial and economic behavior. Chase has been directly responsible for causing some of the financial problems that our country has experienced. For these two reasons, I am thinking about seeking out another bank or credit union with a more responsible reputation.

Overall, my experience has been good with this checking account which has no fees with direct depostit., October, 2016

I opened a checking account with Chase a couple of years ago after receiving a $100 promotional offer for new customers. The bank has many convenient locations and customer service has been good. Service at the drive-thru and inside a branch is always fast. There are no fees if you have set-up direct deposit or make 5 purchases monthly. If you do neither then I believe there is a $5 fee per month. The only problem I have ever had was when I made a cash deposit at an ATM and the money was not deposited into my account. I had to call a customer service number to have the issue taken care of. It was an inconvenience, but the money was made available that same day. Overall, I would recommend this bank to anyone interested in opening a checking account.

Joined them when I was a teenager and it was called another name. I like that I have longevity, some of my options were grandfathered in. I don't like that they call me every couple of months and try to get me to have a meeting with their investment perso, November, 2016

I have asked them to please not bother calling - we are not people who use investment advisors and don't trust them to see to our own benefit - but I'm sure the corporation forces the employees to 'reach out' a set number of times. At least it's not Wells Fargo!

I have a general mistrust of banks since the '08 fallout, though obviously one needs a bank unless you're going to bury your money or stuff it in your mattress. I stick with Chase because I've been a client for many years and have some account options grandfathered in. I was glad when I moved that they had a branch here so I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of moving my money to another bank and setting up another account.

Very positive if not tough to get credit from., October, 2016

Chose bank for its location in proximity to my home and good ratings id heard from friends. Set up checking account with them many years ago while in college and there were really no fees or charges that they imposed on me for this time. After a few years decided to apply to get a credit card for myself. Was turned down for my first credit card application with them. Went in to talk to a banker about it and he said that he would do his best to fix the issue. About a month later when I reapplied I got a credit card from them. Very professional and friendly inside and I always feel like i am welcome to walk in there and as if im not wasting their time.

I dont have a lot of complains., October, 2016

Ive had an account with this bank since I had money. Their customer service is pretty good. I can get my statements without any trouble. They also provide me other services like credit card, auto loan. If ever I have problem I can contact their excellent customer service 24/7. I get emails from them on updates, new services. Their online banking has always been superb. And now that I think about it, their online banking keeps getting better and better. I think everyone I know (friends, family, coworkers) also have an account with Chase. And I don't hear any complains from them, that alone speaks a lot about how good the bank is. They also have a lot of ATM machines and bank branches around our area. The experience has been really good.

Nationwide bank with great service, October, 2016

I do most of my banking online and am happy with Chase's banking presence online. I can use my credit card bonus points and transfer them to my account directly to get cash back. I like the bonus categories that change every 3 months too so that I'm usually getting at least 5% points on something. I like that the bank is compatible with Mint too which helps with my budgeting. I have used Chase Quick Pay to pay off my monthly bills like garbage, water, gas, and electricity. The local banks seem to offer exactly what I need and there are usually enough ATMs nearby to get cash out whenever I need without any fees. I would definitely recommend this bank for anyone that is looking for a stable banking service and credit card.

Globally fine, locally not so hot., November, 2016

I have banked with Chase for over ten years now. I liked the branch near me in Ohio and was probably there at least once every two weeks. I used to have a safe deposit box and multiple accounts there including a student loan but the loan was sold to another company. Now I live in Florida and my local Chase branch is nowhere near as efficient. The wait for a desk person is always at least twenty minutes to half an hour and then the person is not always able to take care of my needs. Depositing a check, inside the bank, once took me 25 minutes. The drive through is the only way I will use the local branch now because I don't have to go inside and wait an exceptionally long time. This bank's website is easy to use and I do almost all my transactions with the bank online now.

I've had a great experience with Chase and would highly recommend it to anyone!, November, 2016

I first opened an account with Chase in 2006 and have never once thought of changing banks. Because I had checking an saving with them, home loan rates were lower, plus came with a few extra options on all the accounts. I'm also very happy with their security features. I had my debit card number stolen a few months ago and Chase immediately texted me about the suspicious activity and refunded the money. They also overnighted a new card to me so that I did not have to lose access to using one. Also, I really like their online banking. It's very easy to use and helps me keep track of my bills and payments each month with no problems. The other online services are also accessible from my mobile devices, which is very convenient.

    It's been acceptable., November, 2016

I have used this bank for many years because of the convenience. They have branch locations all over the place. They have plenty of ATMs as well. They have ATMS conveniently located in major stores and gas stations. It makes it easy to access my cash anywhere without having to worry about incurring fees.

Additionally, they are on the forefront of technology. Their app is very advanced and was one of the first to allow check deposits through the app. Overall, Chase is very convenient and fulfills my needs and expectations from a bank.

My only complaint is that their service fees are a bit high, but fortunately I am cautious and do not get hit with them. Also, the bank is always packed because of its popularity in the city.

I am very satisfied with this bank as they have a lot of branches and fit my needs., November, 2016

I have not had any problems with this bank. When I go into a branch I know the tellers and while it is a big box bank it feels personable. I travel throughout the US very frequently and I have no problems finding either a branch or ATM when I need one.

I experienced debit card theft last year and this bank really took care of me. I was able to get the card cancelled and issued a new one right away as well as the money stolen put back into my account almost immediately with very little hassle in the very least.

Overall I recommend this bank to anyone looking for a new bank. They offer pretty good promotions to entice you in and once a member, you won't regret it.

My experience with Chase bank has been excellent., November, 2016

My first experience with banking was a confusing time. Chase bank helped me by sitting me down and explaining the basics. I opened an account with them and don't have to pay any monthly fees. The customer service at Chase is wonderful as well. They really know how to treat you right and take your concerns seriously. And if something fraudulent happens with your account, the employees at Chase would be more than willing to help you remedy that. The location of the bank is very close to my home as well, which makes my experience with that bank that much better. They recently have started online banking and bill paying, and there is a convenient app you can download on your smartphone to access your account securely. I would recommend Chase bank to my family and friends in a heartbeat.

My experience has been a good one., November, 2016

I do think Chase has been a good bank for me. I can transfer money to my credit cards with ease and don't have to worry about extremely long wait times. I do think that they are in the practice of trying to impose fees on their customers. I do not like that I need to meet a certain criteria each month to avoid having to deal with a fee on my checking account. I also think that the fees for overdrawn accounts is far too excessive. I should not have to deal with a 40 dollar fee with 15 more each day because my account got overdrawn by accident. This is by far one of the worst things about dealing with chase. Other than that the customer service is pretty fast and reliable.

I like this very relible and stable bank., November, 2016

JPMorgan Chase Bank is a very solid and stable bank. They have a very great reputation among the financial community and Americans as a whole. They have given me great customer service when I have had any kind of issue and/or problem. Chase has a lot of branches in all parts of the USA, combined with their website and 1-800 number translates into good news for its clients. I am very happy with my checking account that I have with them. There have never been any unexplained fees, charges, or surcharges. I also have a credit card with Chase. The credit cards interest rate is way too high its like around %19 so its pretty bad. But that is the just about the only negative thing about them. They are overall, a great bank.

I love this bank., November, 2016

I signed up for this bank back when it was US Bank. I was a college student and living away from home, so I needed a bank that had national locations. It was acquired by Chase Bank and I stayed. I consistently have had good experienced with this bank. Fast, courteous customer service, multiple locations, great fraud protection, and wonderful rates. Every time I've looked into getting a loan, Chase is the bank that provides me with the lowest interest rate. Their credit card is well suited for my spending needs. I pay the card off every month except for emergency situations, and I get 1-5% cash back payable within thirty days once I accrue $20. I put all of the spending I can on this card and am actually making money on it.

My experience with Chase has been pleasant and professional, November, 2016

I have had nothing but great experiences using Chase bank. The application process was easy as it's entirely online. What I really like about them is how easy it is to send wire transfers using their online banking or mobile banking app on my smart phone. Their customer service is excellent! Recently, I encountered a suspicious transaction on one of my cards. I immediately called the customer service hotline from which I was forwarded to a fraud prevention associate. He took down my information and the matter was quickly resolved within one business day. Moreover, Chase also took the liberty of refunding several fees from many months prior. All in the interest of customer satisfaction. I have had accounts at other national banks and some local banks. Chase by far has been my most pleasant banking experience. Another great think about them is they have ATM's almost everywhere.

This bank has been easy to deal with and the website is very user-friendly., November, 2016

I left Wells Fargo several years ago because I was unhappy with their service. Their marketing efforts were out of control. I received ads in the mail, emails and every time I went into the bank branch, the teller tried to sell me a new product or service. I was so tired of dealing with it and I received a promotion from Chase Bank offering $250 for opening a new checking account. I decided to try it out and was not disappointed. The service was always courteous and professional and they rarely tried to push other products on me. A few years ago, I added on a credit card and like that I can manage my checking account, savings account, auto loan and credit card all on one page. The automatic bill pay for credit cards makes the process very easy. I enjoy great reward bonuses through the credit card.

Good at times could be improved, December, 2016

The overall bank is very polite and takes care of things in a genuine way. One of my only negatives is the fees that the bank charges are at times absurd. The penalties and rules for the fee are not great but besides that i am happy with my experience with this bank. The customer service is great and always answers the phone or in person with respect. The location is another positive for me. The atm is very easy to use and is convenient. I would happily recommend this bank to anyone but only negative is the fees which i hope can be fixed someday. The overall chase brand is known for being on top of things and is respectable for i have no problems other than that regarding my bank.

I have had great experiences with Chase., December, 2016

Even when I have had a problem I have always had great experiences with Chase bank because they are always ready to correct the problem. I recently closed my credit union savings account because it was in another state and someone had go ahold of my personal information, thus draining the account. Thankfully, I was able to retrieve the lost funds. I then opened a Chase savings account and was given several options to make so the savings account was right for me. I chose the personal account because it required a lesser balance to get started and maintain verses the business savings account. I had some trouble keeping the balance at first, but the problem was soon resolved when I signed up for automatic deposits from my checking to my savings. I couldn't be more happier with chase, now I experience no more fees, I love the customer service and the mobile app as well.

My experience with this bank has been very good., December, 2016

I have had this bank since I've had my very first account. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I even stuck with them when I moved and there was no branches around. They make everything very easy. They have a very nice website and mobile app which makes all my banking transactions nice and easy. I opened up a credit card with them a couple of years ago and it has also been a nice experience. It is the Southwest airlines credit card and I have already earned 4 free flights. They are also very good and convenient the couple times that I needed to dispute a charge. When I go to the branch they are always very nice and give my golden retriever dog biscuits. Will always stay their customer.

I have no complaints about this bank, December, 2016

This bank has competitive fees and interest rates. It is welcoming and friendly. The financial advisor has contacted me on occasion via email and phone to see if i have any questions or concerns. The services are easy to use. There are two atms at my nearest branch. There are many branches in the area. I rarely have to wait in line either in the branch, at the drive up window, or at the atms. Their atms appear to have the latest security measures. Envelopes are not required to make deposits at the atms. Perks are offered to clients above a certain deposit limit such as free checking and other reduced or eliminated fees. Many financial instruments for saving or borrowing money are offered. While I have not requested a loan, I feel confident that they would look at a request fairly.

My overall experience with Chase has been very positive., December, 2016

I've had nothing but great service and experiences with Chase bank. From start to finish, everything is smooth and I've been taken great care of. All of the employees are nice. If there's ever a concern about the security of your card, they cancel it and send you a new one immediately. They are always quick to act and I will use Chase for many years to come.

I once had an issue with fraud while I was a Chase customer; someone obtained my debit card information along with the PIN number and extracted all of the money from my account. I immediately disputed these charges and filed a police report and Chase restored the money that I lost, without any questions asked.

Chase then did a claim investigation over a period of time and there were no issues; I got my money back and I am happy.

Chase bank has taken care of me, therefore I am happy to be their customer.

For the most part positive., December, 2016

I'm an overall fan of the bank. Customer service has always been really good. The ONLY main gripe I have is... the fees. The overdraft fees can really be comical. I know it's never smart to have your checking run that low, but sometimes emergencies can happen and I've had a few over the past couple months. You go a cent over $5 negative and they'll tack on $35 overdraft fees over and over. It can really be overwhelming.

That is really my only gripe about the bank. Everything else has been pretty good. There's a location less than 5 mins away from my house. And that's a huge positive for me. I wish the fees were less severe, but I still wouldn't switch banks because of it. Not yet anyways.

It has been great so far., December, 2016

At times they do suck, because they can charge you fees for not meeting requirements like direct deposit. I would totally recommend this Bank to a friend. Not only is it safe, but it is affordable and convenient. I only use it to store money, and that is it. You go around the city and you basically can find an ATM anywhere. Every time I deal with customer service, I deal with them through the phone, and they are quick at whatever they do. Anyone is capable of handling your transactions. I would rather do things online or over the phone, because I hate waiting on the bank for the line to move on. Usually if you go to the bank, it shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes, this is great considering I live in a large city.

Chase provides the ideal balance between global reach and local feel., December, 2016

I still lived in New York when my mom relocated to Florida, so she opened accounts with Chase and added me as joint holder so that I could manage things online for her. A few years later, I made an international career move to a country that didn't have the level of online banking I had become accustomed to, so I opened my own accounts at Chase and linked them to the accounts my mom had. This allowed me to go to a single online screen and see an overview of all four accounts, plus recent activity.

When I returned to the US, and relocated to my mom's town in Florida, I was presently surprised by the employees at our local branch. Almost each person I met either recognized my name or remembered hearing my mother talk about her 'jet-setting' daughter. It has the community feel of a credit union, with the resources of an international bank, and I really enjoy banking with them.

My experience has always been courteous and professional when dealing with this bank., December, 2016

No matter when I have to go to a branch location for this bank, I have always had a professional, courteous and pleasant experience. The employees are always helpful and ask me if there is anything else they can do for me while I am there. The locations are very convenient for me as I can walk to a few branches from my home and work, or I can take my care to many local drive up atm locations. The product offering is great too. I have a checking, savings account as well as a credit card. The fact that they are all connected to each other makes managing money easy. I also like the cash back rewards program from the credit card as well. It's nice to spend the reward money on fun things when I redeem my rewards.

Good enough not to switch to another bank., December, 2016

My previous bank was Washington Mutual, which went down in the huge 2008 financial crisis and was then acquired by JP Morgan Chase. I decided to stick with having an account there instead of choosing a new bank, I knew that at least if it came to the worst, my savings would be protected by the FDIC. The bank provides good enough services, although I'm not completely happy with some of their fees, here in Southern California they have ATM's all over and a lot of bank branches as well, so that I know wherever I am I can withdraw money or receive help from a teller. Since I've been a customer for a while I receive a few perks, although nothing special. But mainly my reason for staying with them is that it would be far, far too much hassle to switch all my accounts and money to another bank. If one day the services declines enough, then I will do it.

    Perfect, December, 2016

Chase bank has been with me ever since I was a student in high school opening up a student account with them all the way through becoming an adult and moving to a foreign country for a period of time and worried about banking situations while being abroad. No matter which branch I have gone to, whether my home town one or the one near my university, I have been met with amazing staff who are not only helpful but are energetic in helping me in whatever way they can. It is no surprise that I keep the cards of my two favorite bank representatives in my wallet because I know if there are issues that pop up or questions I may have they **know** me and are willing to help me. I'm a Chase customer for life.

I have never really had a negative experience with Chase., December, 2016

They have always been understanding if there is an overdraft, and they even helped me quickly reverse a mistaken payment. They also have atms everywhere so I know that they are very reliable no matter where I am. They do offer a lot of extras that I plan to take advantage of one day, but I do not have the best finances and can't really get a credit card of any sorts. I also think that the customer service has been great. The bank tellers are always nice when I go there, and the other workers are always understanding. I also once had to get a document notarized and they helped me. When I went in, I thought I would have to wait a long time, but I got done super quickly, and they were very nice about it.

    3, December, 2016

I have been with this bank for over 10 years, and don't have much other banking experience to compare it to. With that said, I am somewhat satisfied with it. I have a checking, savings, and credit card through this bank. I have also taken out student loans through them. The issues that I have are minor but relevant. I am irked by the terms of my debit card - I get a fee if I don't make a minimum of 6 debit transactions per month or have direct deposit set up. I also am not very happy with the fees on my credit card and think I could find something better. I had issues setting up paperless accounts with my student loans as well as getting my tax information on them as well, although they are no longer the provider for my loans.

Chase has been convienent and dependendable., December, 2016

I chose Chase bank because I move a lot. It has many locations and is almost completely nationwide. I hate paying for ATM fees, and it is nice to be able to find an ATM when you are traveling and not pay $4 extra in fees. I opened the account with very little money, but I am looking into their saving options. I have not yet had a fraud incident, but I have had to update my account and that has been smooth. I also like their "quickpay" feature, as my roommate also had Chase and it was easy to use. Finally, the app to deposit checks saves so much gas and time. It is not difficult at all and I have not had any problems with security. Overall, I have not had any issues with chase and they have been easy to work with.

My experience has been positive., December, 2016

I've been a customer with Chase for many years. I have never had a problem with them, but I only have a checking account and no other product. Overall, I've been pretty happy banking with Chase. I mostly bank online and there are no fees for that. One thing I love about Chase is that they are all over the United States. I visit Florida very often and the city I visit, there are probably 3 or 4 Chase bank that I have visited, so the convenience is great. Even if I visit New York, I can find Chase, which is not the same for the other banks my kids use. I recently signed up for their Quick pay service where anyone can pay you with only a phone number and email address and that I thought was pretty cool. One thing I don't like is that they are taking away the tellers and adding the machines inside the bank. I may not visit my branch often, but when I go inside the bank, I really want that teller experience so I'm not happy about that. Otherwise, I love banking with Chase and for the foreseeable future, will continue to bank with them.

It has been a stable, consistant part of my financial life., December, 2016

I used to use PNC but moved to chase bank. Mostly because of the fees that were being charged to my PNC account. Having an account with Chase has been a good experience. My parents have been easily able to transfer money to and from my account in such an important part of my life. The only feed that are being charged to my account are for not having a direct deposit into my account. The charge is only six dollars but this is only going to be temporary because I am fixing to get a direct deposit set up. The customer service at every chase bank I went to has been very good. I need a bank statement on the fly and they were able to get it to me in a very fast and friendly way. Their mobile app is also very convenient and easy to use, as well as secure.

Bank that is helpful and friendly., December, 2016

When I turned I wanted a bank account. My mom recommended this bank because she also uses this bank and told me how helpful they were and how there was little to no fees. So I went in there with no thought of how this worked. They started with greeting me and asking what I needed. I told them I wanted a bank account and didn't know which one. They told me what a checking and savings account was and which one would benefit me more. They were very helpful and answered all my questions in a nice manner. I didn't feel pressured to open up an account with them and the person I felt with felt genuine. I did end up opening an account with them and they have been helpful all the way. I haven't had any fees taking out of my account and when I was in trouble they went out of their way to help me. There was one time when I had been robbed and I had to make a new debit card. The theif had used a lot of money out of my account and they helped me get a new one and even went through the customer support line to help me get a new one faster.

I havn't had it too long yet but its already ten times better than my last bank.,, December, 2016

I honestly just opened this bank account a couple weeks ago, but it is already ten times better than my old bank. My old bank was one attached to my student financial aid. No branches around me, had to wait a week if my debit card got lost to get a new one. Just having the access to a branch near me is so much more enjoyable. I also got two hundred dollars for opening up my checking account so that was definitely a major plus. I really only have minimal fees and that's super great. Opening up the account was easy and the person that helped me was nice and did everything I expected them to do. All in all I have had a great experience with this bank so far.

Chase bank has always been there for me when I needed any help., December, 2016

Chase has always been there for me whenever I need help with anything. I have had credit card fraud against me and they were there to immediately refund me my money. I have never had to pay any sort of fees through them at all. They have locations about anywhere that you go in the United States. I had a freedom card through them which I loved because I racked up a lot of points to be able to use in other places. I recently stopped because I decided against using credit cards all together. I got my car loan through Chase at a great interest rate in comparison to other places I checked. There is no way that I would change banks because of the convenience of their locations and their online capabilities.

There's been some good, some bad and some annoying., December, 2016

Chase has done some really annoying things over the years. One one hand, they have all the cutting edge technology which is appreciated but then they went and closed my saving account without notice. Their direct deposit service is awesome and you can send money with an email address now like paypal but then our "home bank" is locked to a brand a state away since we've moved so we can't get things like temporary cards issued for our account if we have to cancel a card. When we got our most recent cards, the one with the chip in them, they got lost in the mail and my husband's high-tech-better-security card was immediately stolen. However the process for reporting the fraud and getting new cards issued was (mostly) painless. So some good and some bad! I'd like to switch but it's a long established account and good for my credit and they do offer some good services that I take advantage of!

Fantastic, anything i need, they are quick to assist., December, 2016

I'm prior military and they have a special military option. Basically, i get the upgraded style checking account, but i do not have the extra fees associated with that style of account. I've had a couple attempted identity theft attempts over the fast few years, and Chase was immediately there to sort and out and figure out the problem. One of the attempts actually were able to purchase something online, but Chase had it being handled before i was even aware of the situation.

The local representatives are great too! They are always friendly and are always helpful with my questions and concerns. I've had other banks in my area and none seem to compare to them. Before chase, the bank i had for the 5 years before were terrible compared to Chase; i definitely wouldn't go back.

It has been nice for simple things., December, 2016

Although chase is my primary bank, overall I am not very satisfied with them. There was a time when I went in to get a wire transfer done so I could purchase a home. When I was talking to the teller about my home purchase, he began to push his products onto me because I was getting my loan through another bank. I felt that was very disrespectful. What was worst was that the product he was trying to sell me on would have been worst off for me with higher fees and higher payments. My other issue with this bank is that they impose very high fees for not having enough money in your account and yet they don't charge you anything if you have plenty of money. The mindset seems backwards to me. You have to protect yourself from them or they'll try to charge you at every turn. What is nice about Chase is that I can use their new ATM's to withdraw money in lower forms of currency than the usual 20$ bills.

They communicate, are always open to talk and dont make mistakes., December, 2016

Whether there is a fraud charge or I am about to get an overage charge, they are always able to talk to me and work with me. There have been a few times where the customer service was above and beyond and they really impressed me. Any worries that I may have had is taken away and they always leave me feeling happy. With other banks, I have run into issues that have been huge deals. Now that I have changed to Chase, these issues have no longer been happening anymore. Another issue, I bought a computer but it arrived broken. The company was going out of business and I called Chase. They set up a fraud ticket and gave me back the money for the computer the same day. The company never responded to me or the company and I would have been out $600 if it was not for chase.

It has always been a pleasant one., December, 2016

I was introduced to chase bank by my sister. She has had an account with Chase for 15 years and has stood solidly behind her choice. She took me to open my account and to meet with her personal financial advisor. The experience was eye opening. It was at that point that I realized that banks weren't just some place to store away your money at, but more importantly an institute for many financial services. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences since then. I visit more then a couple of times a month. The first time that I over drew my bank account the Customer service was more than stellar and helped me through while I was panicking. That type of experience is the reason why I don't think I could bank with anybody but Chase bank. They just understand how to handle customers needs.

All in all its a great place to bank, December, 2016

My 1st bank was Washington Mutual. It was a great bank and learned a lot about fees with them and i wasn't surprised when it went under. JP Morgan Chase acquired Washington Mutual and I was serious considering changing banks because JP Morgan chase to me was a really huge company that wouldn't cater to my needs. I gave them a month chance to see, if I would stay and how the fees would affect me. I was pleasantly surprised that they had so much to offer. One of the features I use the most has to be the Chase app for android. Scanning you check and not having to wait in line is a big deal for me. The one thing I hate is when I go to the bank ATM to take money out that it doesn't take much effort to look over at the ATM next to you to look at there screen and I end up waiting till 3 ATM open up so i can use the one in the middle or use the corner one for safety since some neighborhood aren't to safe. Beside the ATM issue I never had a problem with them

Overall the bank has been good, despite a couple of small hiccups., December, 2016

I started with chase bank due to a promotion they were having where you received one hundred dollars upon opening a account. I enjoy the mobile features and all of the locations. For the most part they have treated me fairly and have maintained their basic function in maintaining my money. I presently utilize two credit cards, one checking account and one savings account with them. In dealing with most issues they have been prompt; for example at one point I have had my credit card numbers stolen. I received an alert and had a new card issued in just a couple of days. Thus far the only issue I ever had was when the inadvertently closed a checking account they were not supposed to. The had closed the wrong account and fixing it, in my opinion took far too long.

My experience has been average without many issues, December, 2016

I originally chose chase bank because of the college account that they offered that had no fees when you had less than a certain amount in your bank account. The process of opening up an account with them was quick and painless and the person I set up the account with listened to all my questions and didn't try to sell me any other products which was nice. I also like that they have a mobile banking app, which makes it easier for me to pay bills and deposit checks without having to drag myself to the bank. Every time I have had to go into the bank I'm always greeted by polite tellers and never had any issues with the employees making me jump through hoops to get what I need. Overall my experience with Chase has been pleasant and its nice to have a bank that you can find anywhere in the US.

My overall experience has been ok with some problems., December, 2016

I originally opened an account with Washington Mutual which was then acquired by Chase years ago. I feel like Chase has not lived up to the ideals that Washington Mutual had in terms of customer service. On a a day to day basis, my experience with Chase is ok. I've had some issues in the past with fees related to insufficient funds that I felt were excessive. A company also mistakenly put a hold on my account (it was for a different person) and I had a very hard time resolving it with Chase and had to work outside of Chase to resolve the issue. Since then, I've been pretty critical of them overall. I know at this point I should probably look for a new bank but I haven't invested the time in doing so.

Being a larger bank you can forget personalized service, December, 2016

Chase is a larger bank and therefore it's hard to create a personalized relationship with the bank. You seem to just be an account number. But they do have some good interest rates and some good loan products. They also have many credit cards and different types of accounts to choose from. The best part of having both a mortgage and a bank account with Chase is that They offer a program where they give you a percentage of your interest of the mortgage loan as cash back. You can either take it as cash or put it on the principle of your mortgage loan which is what I've opted to do. This has saved me hundreds of dollars in the past few years. Without that bonus I feel that I would only have my mortgage through them and not any other accounts.

Overall, our experience has been very positive and we've had no issues., December, 2016

My husband and I were trying to open up a joint account when I moved back to the US and he immigrated for the first time with me. It was difficult for him to have all the necessary documents (especially proof of address) because he recently arrived, but Chase worked with us and treated us with great patience and care. They were very flexible in which documents we could use and provided excellent service. They have a great number of ATMs around our area and across the country and their machines are time of the line. I moved from a much smaller bank and was especially impressed with the check-depositing function on their ATMs. Their online banking service is easy to use and intuitive. After I got a job we opened a credit card with Chase and I have been equally satisfied with the online and mobile credit applications we opened. Overall I have had an extremely positive experience with Chase.

It has been a good overall experience with Chase bank., December, 2016

Chase has been very convenient to use. It was tough at first getting used to all its rules because I had my first card while young. But I quickly managed and took care of the money I had while a customer. I adjusted rapidly to it's rules and avoided all the usual traps that I could that banks tend to throw at you.

They have been very generous with me and have even gone so far as to introduce me to a credit card without any questions asked. Their direct deposit option has been useful for me since I tend to be on the go most of the time. They have a good staff of friendly and helpful customer service representatives and while I don't like their fees, theirs are certainly not the highest around.

The overall experience has been satisfactory, December, 2016

I was introduced to this company by my family. Almost every family member has an account with this bank. The initial reason for choosing this bank was to make it easier for my parents to transfer money into my account without having to incur any fees. Moreover, the bank had excellent customer service. You could reach a live person at any time of the day. I have spent more than about 6 years as a customer with this bank. What i like about the bank is that it has no fees on (at least for my checking account) as long as i have regular direct deposits of $500 or more every month. I also like their mobile app, it has helped me keep track of my spending. I consider myself a loyal customer with bank and i feel like such loyalty has been repaid more than a few times for example: There was a time when someone got hold of my debit card details and made fraudulent purchases. The Bank was to quick to notify of the suspicious transactions and offered to reimburse me as soon as possible. That is something i have always been appreciative of. Moreover , there were times when i overdrafted my account by a few dollars and the bank simply waived the overdraft fees after i called and asked them if they could.

Its convenient locations make it easy for me to make deposits and withdrawals., December, 2016

There is one in the same shopping as my job. I also like that i can just swipe my card and ,make transactions without having to fill out a deposit slip. I also have a savings account there that gains some interest. One of my favorite things about chase bank is their app. Their app is very easy to use and has many features that are very convenient for me such as chase quick pay. I can quickly make a receive payments from my girlfriend through the quickpay feature. We live together and pay bills together but keep separate checking accounts so having he ability to send money between our accounts without having to make withdrawals and using cash. I am also able to link my chase credit card to the app so i can see all my accounts in one place.

I think Chase has exorbitant checking account fees., December, 2016

I started an account with Chase bank because they offered me a one hundred and fifty dollar gift to start the account. The representative that assisted me in opening the account assured me that I would qualify for the bonus. When the bonus period was up, I inquired about the bonus, and was told that the representative was wrong and that I would not qualify. Also, Chase takes about twelve to fifteen dollars out every month just to use a checking account. It should not cost me anything for them to make compounded interest on my money. As it turns out, in the end, they were going to take over one hundred and fifty dollars from me by the end of the year. I felt like I had been tricked. I decided to close my account and move to a better bank with less or no fees.

Chase has provided good service with nice offerings., December, 2016

Chase is what my parents have always used and I never questioned using them. Their customer service is top notch, and there's always someone willing to help whether it is on the phone or at a physical branch. You can't blame Chase for offering extremely low interest rates with the current interest rate environment we're facing. Their rates seem to be around the industry average at this point. I have no complaints to air about Chase. Their fees are clear and in the open and they tell you what you can expect to pay for before you actually do. I expect to be a Chase customer for a long time or until a bank starts offering astronomical interest rates that can't be beaten. Overall, it's been a very positive experience.

Chase Bank has great customer service and they are convenient to bank with., January, 2017

I opened my account when I got my first Engineering job. It was close to my work. Soon after I opened my account I got a 60 month loan at a good rate for a new car. Checking and savings were free back then. I experienced a change in my bank when new laws where passed concerning overdrafts. Chase found a way to replace the revenue by charging for checking accounts that are not active enough. Now the checking account has a $12 / month service fee. I am willing to pay this fee for convenience.

I don't go into the Chase bank branches much, but it is nice to know that there are usually representatives free to speak to you about your account if you wish. Online only banks may have less fees, but they do not have the convenience or personal touch of Chase.

This bank has provided a very good overall experience in my numerous dealings with it., January, 2017

I first opened a Chase account several years ago because the bank was near to my school. I currently have a personal checking account with Chase, along with a few personal credit cards and a business card. I previously have had a savings account and a money market account but I have closed both. My experience with the money market account was not relevant due to the timing of opening it, right before a stock market crash. I was not able to take advantage of it and closed it after a few trades. I opened my savings account based on a bonus, but it provided a terrible interest rate so I eventually closed it. Using the credit cards has been a good experience as I have been able to earn many rewards. I have had very good experiences with customer service. I have had two experiences where mistakes on my end kept me from properly paying a credit card on time, and both times I was forgiven. I also incurred a fee once for not having enough money in my savings account, and when I went to the bank to close the account, they refunded the fee.

They are very east to work with, from their easy to use website to actually talking with someone on the phone., January, 2017

Chase has been a wonderful bank to me. The reason I choose them is that they have locations and ATMs across the world. This makes everyday banking easy. They also have a top notch online and mobile account. Their online account is super straight forward, has monthly credit score updates and is just convenient. Their mobile app was one of the first to have a direct photo deposit for checks which is super nice. Chase has probably the best customer service departments. A few years back I had several unknown charges on my credit card and with a click of the button on their website I was able to challenge them. That day I received a phone call from a person at chase how said they agreed with my decision to challenge these charges and they were taken of my statement. I had a similar experience with another credit card company this year and I will tell you it was not a fun process with them blaming me for the fraudulent charges.

They offer typical fees and rates but are more convenient than other banks I have worked with., January, 2017

I have never had a very negative experience with this bank. I think they charge expensive, but normal fees, for checking accounts and ATM use. I do like their mobile app and the availability of ATMs. The best feature of this bank for me has been the ease is which I have been able to set up automatic bill pays. I also like their service which allows me to send money to other Chase customers. This is very convenient and is why I have not looked into other banks with better rates or fees of checking accounts. I didn't choose to use this bank for my saving account because I found a bank with better interest rates. I did not choose to work with this bank for my mortgage because the did not offer a very good rate.

My experience with chase bank has been overall positive., January, 2017

My experience with Chase over the past 5 or so years has been a very positive experience compared to other banks I have joined. While other banks seem to be shady and secretive about their fees, Chase has always been upfront with their fees. While some of the fees are a little pricey I do not mind paying the premium for a premium banking experience. The convenient location of ATM's and banks around town make it very convenient to withdraw or deposit cash. I find more chase ATM's around my area than any other bank and I also feel that is the same nationwide. The service presented at Chase is bar none the best I have encountered as well. The staff is always friendly and seem to enjoy the job they have. I recommend chase to all my fellow colleagues and friends. Overall, Chase is a great banking experience.

My experience overall has been quite pleasurable., January, 2017

When I was shopping for a home mortgage, Chase offered the lowest rates out of other bank, even to me as a first time homebuyer with not a ton of credit history. The one or two times I have needed to get someone on the phone, I have been able to with a minimum of hassle and they have always been able to resolve my issue quickly.

Shortly after that, they gave me a credit card with a $2k limit that they have periodically increased to $20k over my time with them. I also have a MileagePlus credit card with them that has one of the best rewards systems that I have seen on credit cards.

I also feel that Chase has managed to stay away from scandals that other major banks have taken part in recently (such as WF and BofA have.)

Family feel but a national bank., January, 2017

JPMorgan Chase has provided my family and me with the highest level of customer service imaginable. Although their rates are not great given the current environment, they are always helpful. We have access to a 24 hour hotline through which any account problems may be easily solved. The customer service is especially apparent when we go into a physical branch. The employees are very friendly, seem to enjoy what they do, and are always willing to help us with any transaction we need to get done. Their card offerings are also very nice. I do not personally have a credit card but my parents both have Sapphire Preferred Rewards cards and they seem to be one of the best cards on the market for earning rewards. Overall, the experience we've had with Chase has been an incredibly positive one and we do not plan on switching banks any time soon.

My experience has been good., January, 2017

My experience with Chase has been mostly positive. The customer service is excellent. The best part is the fraud protection. Chase has saved me a number of times from having my credit card numbers stolen. I also frequently travel around the United States of America, and they have been able to accurately keep up with my travels. The few times where my card is declined due to fraud, I receive both a text and an email in order to verify my purchase. It then takes just a quick response to get my card back up and running. Their online interface is great as well. Makes it super easy to transfer money between accounts. There also seems to be a Chase Bank in almost every city, so finding a branch out ATM is not difficult at all.

Convenient with a lot of fees., January, 2017

JPMorgan Chase provides many features that are extremely useful and convenient. However this comes at the cost of fees for anything they can think of. One of their most useful features is "QuickPay", which allows one to instantly send money to another Chase customer using their email address. QuickPay is essentially the only reason I'm still maintaining my Chase bank account. Chase also has many locations and ATMs which is of course very convenient. Chase's website is also much better than those of most banks. The interface is clear and easy to use. Their mobile app is also superior to most other banking apps.

Chase charges fees for simply having a checking account if you have less than $1,500 at the time they are to deduct their $12 monthly fee. This is unfortunate for people who perhaps can't maintain that much at any given time.

This bank has professional courtesy customer care., January, 2017

I have banked with Chase since I moved to Southwest Florida. There are many convenient locations throughout NYC where I set up my account before I moved to Southwest Florida. These days one does not have to go to a physical location that often and I believe it is a good bank as there are many just as good. I specifically picked this bank out of convenience but I would rather bank with a small bank that offers better services or a credit union that has top rate service.

However due to the convenience nationwide banks such as Chase do well since there are so many available at your convenience. Wish I could invest more with a credit union but Southwest Florida is a small part of Florida that is just starting to grow and hopefully there will be more competition and that would be good for the consumer.

It's been okay, I'm sure it could be better, January, 2017

I've been a customer with chase when my old bank, which I loved, Washington Mutual was acquired by them. Chase is a giant, corporate bank with a ton of branches in my area, which is nice and convenient for me. However, they feel really big and corporate. The employees are nice when I go in, but they don't seem happy and the fact that they wear chase branded tops seems weird since tellers usually wear business attire. The savings account interest is terrible, but I choose to keep it since it's convenient. I also have a credit card with them, and though it's a good card, I don't use it as much since my credit limit is not very high with them (which was strange to me since I was a customer with them for a long time). I'd love to switch to an online only bank, but lack of easy acess to ATM's is a big deal for me and I have 2 chase's by my house that I can go to if I need to, plus everything I have all tied up with chase, so it seems daunting to switch.

Chase has an easy to navigate website, and friendly customer service representatives., January, 2017

I have been a member of Chase bank for about 4 years now, and I have been extremely satisfied with it for the most part. It has the most available ATMs in my area compared to other banks, and the website is extremely easy to navigate. The only thing that is making me consider switching banks, is because now that I'm unemployed and don't have direct deposit, it now costs me $12 a month just to have an account open. Every dollar counts right now, and $12 is a lot, especially when I do all services myself and I'm only storing money. I'm looking in to opening an account with a credit union. But, the Chase representatives have been very nice when I've had to call them a few times in the past, and customer service is really important to me.

It's just been okay you know?, January, 2017

Honestly, I think the service I've gotten from Chase has just been okay. My main issue is how payments and sales are processed over the weekends. Not only are they processed in a way that may put me behind on my finances (for example, I buy an item online and it's not charged to my account until days later, this can make it hard for me to budget.) but sometimes they aren't processed correctly at all (example, it says I got this money on the 15th when I got the money on the 12th, due t being processed on the 15th). The fees for my account are kind of okay, the interest rate on my credit card is silly, I think it's 19%? I wish I could lower it but my bank does not give me the option to do so.

Generally good, mostly neutral, January, 2017

There are Chase ATMs in every Duane Reade store in New York City, so it is very convenient to be a member of their bank. I switched because they are more forgiving with overdrafts, and because my husband banks with them as well, so it is easier for us to manage our finances together. The signup process was fairly painless and didn't take any longer than at a different bank. I can find a location near me wherever I am in the city, which has cut down a lot on ATM fees. They have been helpful with suspected fraud and are always friendly. I have had great experiences going into branches and dealing with tellers, as well. They don't offer very competitive interest rates or any bells and whistles but they are a great option in terms of accessibility.

Once you're no longer making money for them/storing large amounts with them you're worthless as a customer., January, 2017

I was a chase customer for about 2.5 years. It was fine at first. I mostly just needed a checking account for direct deposit and paying bills. After about 2 years I lost my job and began working for myself again. The account was mostly dormant because I was doing freelance work for cash. Unbeknownst to me, once you are no longer receiving direct deposit they begin charging your account a monthly fee. This added up over time and combined with overdraft fees has driven my account far into the negattive. I think it was, at best, negligent on their part and at worst, that they take advantage of people in these situations. I don't know if I would go as far as to say chase employsd predatory practices because as long as you're keeping a substantial amount there its all good, but if you are a poor person or infrequently using your account its not a good bank for you.

They are very helpful, January, 2017

I have been banking with Chase Bank for over fifteen years. I opened my personal checking account and they were so friendly and service oriented. Since then I have had business accounts , savings accounts, and several credit cards with great cash back rewards. The few times that I have made a mistake in handling something they were very helpful at getting me taken care of. Concerning my credit cards with them they have alerted me on several occasions to a suspicious charge and it turned out that someone had stolen my information from a major retailer. Their customer service was excellent. They stopped the fraudulent charge and overnight-ed me a new card. The local branch where I live is extremely friendly in a genuine way and I feel comfortable every time I go in for banking.

This is the best bank I have ever used., January, 2017

I opened my account 6 years ago on the recommendation from my father. I went to their local office to open a checking and savings account. When I walked in I was greeted sincerely by the manager who offered my coffee while I waited for the account representative. The wait lasted less than 5 minutes. When I sat down and talked to the representative he advised me on all the services that the bank offered. It was nice because he was not pushy and did not try to sell me services that I did not need. The whole account creation phase lasted less than twenty minutes.

So far my interaction with this bank has been superb. 3 years ago I went to them looking for a $65,000 home loan and I was approved within 3 days. Their online banking and mobile bill paying make keeping track of my expenditures a breeze. My paycheck is automatically deposit in my account every Friday, this is awesome because I used to have to stand in lines to cash my check. I have never encountered any technical problems with my account and have had 100% access to it. I am also considering opening a investment account with them.

They have made much improvement over the last few years, February, 2017

I used to have an account at chase bank over 10 years ago and eventually left because I did not like their practices. Their fees were too high and the locations were inconvenient. A little over a year ago I received an offer to open an account with them and receive $300. I decided to give them another try. They have made many improvements since the last time I banked with them. They no longer charge me fees on my account, and do not charge NSF fees if the amount is less that $5 which has saved me a few times. I can deposit cash and checks at their ATMs which are now conveniently located on almost every corner for me. I can do pretty much all my banking from an ATM and even withdraw money in smaller notes than $20 when needed. Their banking app is also convenient and I can make payments and send transfers to other accounts quickly. I can even deposit checks with my phone.

I've never had a negative experience with Chase., February, 2017

Ideally, I'd never actually need to interact with my bank. I prefer to use direct deposit, mobile banking, and atms for my banking. Chase offers all of these services, has atms in most major cities, and is convenient to use. I don't pay any fees for my checking or saving accounts. My credit card interest rate isn't amazing, but it's on par with my other accounts and their rewards points are very competitive. I did have one very positive experience with their customer service team. A few years ago, I had some fraudulent charges on my debit card account and Chase reversed the charges and credited me in full. I don't necessarily agree with Chase's business tactics, their investments in fossil fuels and other industries, but they aren't the only big bank with a questionable portfolio. I think moral objects to their business ethics is actually my only complaint.

I have had a very good relationship with this bank., April, 2017

I enjoy the mobile banking options of this bank. I can easily check my account from any mobile or computing device. The website is very straight forward, although I much prefer the full site to the mobile site. The mobile site is very limited, whereas the full site provides me with most all the information I need. I like the autopay feature, as well as being able to conveniently transfer money between accounts (personal and between family members who also bank with Chase). The location of my bank and ATM are just about perfect. The friendly staff are always professional and helpful. Also the branch manager is very accessible. I have banked with them for almost 10 years, and I do not see breaking connection with them anytime in the near future.

It has been a fairly easy experience., June, 2017

Chase has been my bank since I was 17 years old and it was still Bank of New York. Once it was bought out and changed to Chase, I stayed with them. I think they are a great bank. First of all, they have ATMs everywhere so I can do my best to avoid fees. They don't charge me for my checking account as long as I use it 5x a month. Their deposits are always quick and easy and available the next day. Other banks take days and sometimes even if you deposit CASH into an ATM, it still isn't. Chase always has my funds available promptly. Even on holidays, there is little delay. Overall, I have had very few problems banking with Chase and if I did have a problem, they resolved it for me rather quickly. I am satisfied with Chase and I would not switch banks.

Generally the bankers are great people and very understanding - the bank has given them ability to conduct business well and it has overall been pleasurable., July, 2017

I went to Chase because of their location, and also because I knew the banker. I needed to open a checking account as a younger person who had run into some credit issues, and I was having troubles opening one at another bank. The banker and I discussed the situation and put together a plan that would allow me to join their bank. She was helpful and understanding of the situation. In the time since then, I have been able to build up my credit and buy a house, which was then refinanced through Chase. I also was able to get two credit cards within the Chase credit card family. I have run into occasional financial issues, but I trust Chase to help even though they are one of the largest banks in the nation.
