    Regions has been a good bank to work with., September, 2016

    I have reached out to this bank several times. They have always been responsive and very helpful. I contacted Regions about 4 months ago to inquire about a home equity loan or line of credit. One of the representatives called me back quickly and we discussed all of the options. She told me about their policies and what it takes to get this type of loan. After a few conversations we came to the conclusion that the home equity loan would not work out. She gave me a few other options, and we ended up going with another option. It was great working with her, and she was very helpful with alternatives. I feel confident that if I had to talk to them again that they would be very helpful.

    It's been mostly bad., September, 2016

    I've had checks bounce when I've had plenty of money in the account, overdrafts without being alerted so the fees racked up unbeknownst to me (I had negative hundreds of dollars and just couldn't believe nobody had contacted me or emailed me some kind of alert), and dealt with rude managers (one put me to tears because he kept interupting me and wasn't listening and I got frustrated). It's been spread out over the years but recently someone took money out of my account (I had written a check for $15 and someone that person was able to cash it for $500 - it ended up being the cashier's fault but for real, that's a huge error for a worker to make!) and that has forced me to begin looking for a new bank. It's too bad because I didn't start having issues with them until a few years ago. Before that, they had always been nice and responsible.

    It has been a great experience and will continue banking with them., October, 2016

    Have been with this dealing with this bank for over 30 years. Have always had good service and never had any problems with our accounts. We have several different accounts with them and have used them for several different reasons. When we moved after Hurricane Katrina we financed our home with them. Have had personal loans with them for several reasons, buying a trailer, consolidating bills.have had 30 and 60 day loans and have always had good finance rates. Since we have automatic deposits there is no fee for our checking accounts. Our older children were set up with accounts at Regions when they graduated from High School. They are nation wide and feel very secure with them. you don't hear too much negativity about them in the news. Have always used them and don't plan on changing banks.

    I do not like this bank very much., October, 2016

    They have ran my transactions in an order that would cause the most overdrafts on a couple of occasions. Instead of running my deposits first (like they should be doing) they have ran my debits, then my deposits, which has caused me overdrafts on a couple of occasions. I was a part of a class action lawsuit with another bank about this very same matter and received a settlement. I contacted them about this very issue and they stated that what I see on the computer under my account, is different from what they see... which completely makes absolutely no sense in any context so this was another strike against them. I worked at a another large bank for years doing the transaction processes so I know exactly how this works, likely WAY better than a customer service rep.

    it has been a great experience everyone has been nice, October, 2016

    I went in to get my bank account after having only a savings account with different bank. The staff was knowledgable and very help full. Setting up my account was quick and painless. It was a great experience getting set up with them in minutes. Since starting my account there has been no hidden fees. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that I have to pay $2.50 whenever I use any other atm because they don't have a lot of locations I feel that should be less if not waived like at my other bank. Also they closed down my savings account because I didn't have any money in it. I was planing to use it but just hit hard times. I didn't get so much as a letter explaining why but other than that its been cool.

    It has been mostly pleasant., October, 2016

    I really have not had any major problem with this bank. There are several locations that near were I work and live. The customer service is very professional and efficient. I really take advantage of their online banking service. It saves me a lot of time. Their rewards programs is nice too.They have so many features and services that are very helpful to a busy person like me. I have been with other banks and I do not find that they compare very well with Regions. I am not by any means saving there are not some problems I have with them . I think their interest rates on checking and saving accounts are not good. I feel that a bank should reward loyal customers with good rates. But all in all I prefer Regions to other banks.

    They have been convenient and I really haven't had any issues., October, 2016

    I chose this bank because they have multiple locations in not only my state, but also in the states that my family lives. While I don't agree with how high some of the fees are (EX Overdraft Fee), they disclosed the fees up front and have been fair when assigning them. I have met with several of the advisers at this bank and they have been very helpful in explaining ways that I could improve my credit. They take the time to make me feel like an important customer and help me with my unique situation so that I can reach my financial goals. Outside of what I consider to be high fees for common mistakes, I really do not have any issues with this bank. I would recommend this bank to people that need a convenient bank that is located in several states across the US.

    My experience with this bank has been what I expected and above average., November, 2016

    The customer service at this bank is really great. Any problem that I ever had with my account has been solved very quickly and any interaction with bank staff is always respectful and kind. The application process when applying for a new account is extremely simple and the bank manager was very knowledgeable about any questions that I had. The location of the bank is very convenient and the bank has ATMs located throughout the area which I live in making it very easy to withdraw money or deposit checks whenever I need to. The fees associated with this bank are very reasonable. The monthly fee is the lowest of all the other banks in the area and the entire fee can be waived if your account reaches a certain criteria. The overdraft is non-excessive and the first time I overdrew my account, the fee was waived in good faith. My only concern is the interest rates associated with the savings account. It is very low and offers barely any benefit to having money in savings. Overall, this bank is phenomenal and I will continue to enjoy doing business and Regions.

    This bank is good for checking and savings, with only a small fee for checking., November, 2016

    I first became a customer of this bank back in high school when I needed to visit a foreign country on a school trip. I wanted a secure place to store the money I was saving up for the experience. So, I finally opened up a bank account. At first it seemed really cool to have an account, and I didn't have to pay a fee with an "Absolutely free checking" account. The bank did exactly what I wanted, gave me the ability to use a card to buy things instead of carrying money, and gave me a place to store my money for the impending trip. However, after a while, the bank started charging me a fee monthly, even though I had only a small amount of money stored there. I was outraged, and thought of switching, but that would have involved a lot of effort. But overall, the bank is all right. The tellers are nice and if any problems arise, I can call them and get swift service.

    It has been better than my experience with any other bank., November, 2016

    I originally opened the account because I thought i was going to be moving at the time and the bank i was currently banking with was a local only bank so i need a new institution that would have branches all over the country. I opened up and a checkings and a savings account to start off with. I ended up not moving so I needed to pick between the 2 banks I was currently with and decide which one to drop and which one to keep using. I ended up going with Regions because even though they were a major corporation the customer service was head and shoulders above my former banking institute and that really resonated with me. I have had nothing but good experiences with them still to this day and am happy with the choice i made.

    It has been very positive., November, 2016

    I have had a very good experience with this bank. It was recommended to me when I moved because my mom banks at Regions. I have always had a good experience with the employees there. I use online banking which is very convenient and easy to use. They have many locations so it is very convenient for me, even when I am traveling. I would definitely recommend this bank to other people as well. I have both a checking and savings account. I feel like their rates are good and have been pleased with the charges I have received. Banking with them is easy and convenient. I have no complaints so far. I would like a higher interest on my savings account but it seems what they offer is fair and the standard so I can't really complain.

    My experience has been very pleasant, convenient, and welcoming., November, 2016

    From the moment I went in the bank and signed up, it has been nothing but pleasurable and welcoming. They welcomed my son, played with him, taught me all the different ins and outs of their fees, and even let me know some convenient options if I ever needed more services from them in the future. There are not many banks that take the time to make sure you understand everything clearly before signing the dotted line, but Regions is definitely that kind of a bank. They are very big on technology and have a host of different ways of staying connected with them like applications and mobile banking. All in all, I do not regret picking Regions as my provider and anyone would be happy to have them as their bank.

    My overall experience with Regions Bank has been that while they are not free from error, anytime I have had a problem over the lst 10 years they have helped me solve it quickly., November, 2016

    I have been with this bank since I was pretty young, moving from a "youth account" to a regular checking/savings account. Although I rarely bank in person, I have found ATMs to be pretty easy to find and online/mobile based services to be good. I have been frustrated a few times with problems with my account or erroneous fees, but their customer service has always solved the problem for me quickly, in some cases going as far as to fully refund fees. Most of my family uses this bank as well, and they have mostly positive things to say. A lot of them use additional services such as loans and safety deposit boxes, and have been satisfied with these aspects as well. This bank has also been good about continuing to update their services, adding better ATMS, the ability to cash checks via mobile device, and a better website interface.

    I don't have to worry about my banking. They take care of it., December, 2016

    I've used this bank for many years.My parents initially set up my account, but I kept it seeing no reason to change banks. They have low fees and competitive rates. Personally, I've never had to pay a fee for my accounts. I've experienced excellent customer service with each transaction. They even called me when suspicious activity was noticed. They didn't charge me and were able to stopped the illegal transactions.

    I use online banking everyday. Being a mom, it's much easier to bank online than to have to drive to the bank. However, when I do go to the physical location, I have always found they are very helpful and even gracious to my kids. It's a bank I would recommend to others. I think they will continue to remain a reputable choice for personal banking.

    I have had pretty good experiences with them as long as I don't overdraft., December, 2016

    Regions provides me with service that is pretty good. I only use them for checking account including debit card as well as direct deposit. The people that work there always seem friendly and helpful and have a smile on their face. I started banking with them because I used to use a credit union but was moving to a different location in the state and needed a bank that had branches where my parents lived and where I was moving to. My wife (at the time) banked with Regions so I opened an account and have been with them ever since. My biggest complaint, though, has got to be when I have non-sufficient funds. They charge a $35 overdraft fee even if was just a couple of dollars and even if funds will be deposited the next day. I have told my girlfriend that I feel like they process debits and credits in a certain order just to take advantage of the fees, but that's probably just conspiracy theory talk.

    It's nearly impossible to get through to them on the phone, December, 2016

    My experience is that when there's an issue that involves needing to call in, it's next to impossible to get a real person. It can take waiting at least 30 minutes to get through. They really want you to do everything in person, but you have to wait for a manager which can often take a long time as well.

    Trying to do small things like changing your address is also a huge pain. You have to go in person and show ID.

    The online app is okay, but they charge for pop money and for online check cashing. The overdraft fees are high and they are quick to charge them. I do have free checking as long as I use direct deposit.

    Overall, I'm not all that happy with my bank in general and I am hoping to change to a new bank soon.

    I have had a wonderful experience with this bank., January, 2017

    I originally became a checking customer of Regions because they were offering a $250 bonus for direct deposit being set up to the account. I was in need of a bank to have my checks deposited in, so it worked out great, and I got the bonus. Shortly after opening my account I received a debit card as well as my book of checks. The customer service has been great. I've had a few hiccups with overdraft fees and they are always willing to negotiate those fees to work with me and keep me as a customer. They have also always been able to help me through the online chat option, which I really like having for convenience purposes. Overall, I have had a great experience with this bank and would recommend it to anyone interested in opening a new checking account.

    My experience has been good overall., January, 2017

    I went to this bank because it was the only non-community bank near me. I only really use the bank for cashing checks and the atm services. I have no fees as long as I have at least one electronic deposit every month (which I do) so I have no fees there. I do wish the savings account had a larger interest rate. it is so small that I can honestly make more money by not putting it into a savings account, and re investing it into my business actively. I have tried to get a small loan from them, but was not able to due to several factors including my credit. The associate did give me several other options that the bank offered and where to locate them on the website. She was very helpful at explaining the process to me. I have really had no major complaints with this bank.

    It's been an easy, hassle free experience for over 10 years., April, 2017

    I've never had a problem with my bank. My checking account doesn't have a fee, so long as I use my bank card at least 10 times a month. Which, I do, easily, every month. The online banking works fine and as it should. The customer service has always been top notch and pleasant. On the occasions, where I've needed more personal service, the employees have always been very helpful, considerate and patient. I can only recall one problem of any sort in the past 10 years, when my account was mixed or confused with that of my ex wife's. We went to our local branch and the problem was handled immediately. My late father also had an account with this bank and I would usually go with him whenever he had business to conduct. We were always treated well and all of our questions were answered patiently and in a properly friendly, yet professional manner.
