    My overall experience with this bank has been good., September, 2016

    I have had an overall good experience with this bank. Every time I go into the bank the tellers are extremely nice and helpful. The bank manager is knowledgeable and always says hello to everyone. I have never had any trouble out of this bank, I simply have a checking and savings account with them. I often have to go into my local branch where I opened my account to deposit paper checks and it is always a nice experience and my time in the bank is always fast and pleasant. The last time I was in the bank the teller even remembered my name which made me feel good. Customer service is an important part of any bank and I always feel welcomed and treated well when I go into my local branch.

    My overall experience with this bank has been stellar., October, 2016

    I have banked with Huntington National Bank since I was a teenager. They have always provided me the most excellent customer service and have taken care of my financial needs over the years. I currently have a checking account and credit card with them. The credit card has a decent interest rate and earns very good rewards for use. I love being able to pay the credit card just by transferring money from my checking account to the credit card account. Another service that I use frequently is Apple Pay. Huntington was quick to offer this feature to their customers and I find it makes it exceedingly easy to make purchases using my Apple Watch or iPhone. Huntington also has very convenient locations in my area. Stand alone branches as well as branches in our grocery stores and even in our local hospital.

    My overall experience with Huntington Bank is a very pleasant experience with excellent service., October, 2016

    I have been a customer of Huntington Bank for nearly four years. I learned of a promotional offer through some co-workers where new customers who open an account and meet a few simple requirements would receive $150 in their account. I visited the main branch to speak with a banker to find out more about this promotion. The banker welcomed me in a friendly manner and took time to thoroughly explain all of the banking options and services that were offered. I really like the fact that the main branch is only 2 miles from my house and stays open an hour longer than the bank that I currently had. The banker set my up with a checking account and debit card as well as a savings account with no fees. There are no monthly fees for just maintaining my account and the banker set me up with overdraft protection so that I can avoid racking up fees if I accidentally go over. In order to get the $150 promotional bonus, all I had to do was activate a direct deposit account and make 5 debit card purchases of any amount. It was really simple and easy to meet those requirements and within a week, I received a $150 deposit, just as promised. I even set up a checking account for my daughter who is away at college and I'm able to access her account and transfer money when needed. The online access is helpful when I need to know my account balance information and the mobile-friendly app makes it convenient to access my account anywhere.

    I have had a good experience with this bank., October, 2016

    I have had a good experience with this bank. I will continue to use them for a long time into the future. It is the first bank I have been a part of and they have treated me well. I have never had any fees on my account for anything. One drawback is I could not re activate my debit card after I canceled it so I had to get a whole new card which took some time and energy to set up. One perk I got was when I opened my checking account I received 100 dollars free if I made 10 purchases with the card within the first few months. The card also is accepted almost anywhere and it looks cool so I am happy to have it.

    They have long lines and deceptive advertising., October, 2016

    I opened an account a little over a year ago. Opening the account was pretty easy. I liked that they have independent branches and a branch inside Giant Eagle that is open on evenings and weekends including Sunday. They also had a promotion for $150 if I deposited so much money within so many days. I deposited the money, but I never received the $150. I went to a different branch and they said they couldn't help me. I went to the branch I originally went to and they said they would give me a call. They never called. I went in two more times and each time they say they will call. They still haven't called and this has been going on for months. In October 2015, there was an error that caused everyone's charges for that weekend to post twice. This causes my account to go negative. I was unable to get any money out of my account. It was resolved in two days, but luckily I didn't need to get gas or anything during that time. The wait at the bank is often long. I like the mobile deposit and the app. I haven't had any issues with direct deposit.

    This the the best bank I have ever used., October, 2016

    This bank is great. The customer service is outstanding and the no fee checking is great. If I ever have an issue or problem I know that the people at this bank can handle it quickly and efficiently. One of the main features of this bank that I love is the overdraft forgiveness. If one were to overdraft an account this bank will allow 24 hours before a fee is incurred. Another feature that I love is the no fee checking. I have a checking account and I have never had a fee associated with using this account. I would highly recommend this bank over other banks. The only way that I would leave this bank is if they started charging fees or other such items for my checking account.

    It has been a great time dealing with huntington bank, they are always there for me., October, 2016

    Huntington bank is a great bank to have. I keep on trying to get my mother to switch over to huntington. There has never been a time where I needed to withdraw money and I could not find an ATM. there is always one with in a close distance. Even when I go into the store to deposit money the bank teller is always very friendly, and the whole process is quick as well. I wish the interest rates were higher at this bank but I am sure they are not that much higher if i were to go some where else. I feel secure banking with huntington and even their app is super easy to use. They have a new feature where I use my fingerprint to log in, it works pretty good.

    pretty common, October, 2016

    they are quick to issue overdraft fees. they have excellent customer service in their banking centers. Their account set up is easy, as is their online banking process. I have many accounts with them. Their overdraft fees are ridiculous. I would much rather be at a credit union. I'm considering switching banks. I would rather have a bank that's willing to listen to your concerns, rather than be robotic.

    they rarely try to sell me more products when I come in, which I prefer. I hate salesy product pushers. I don't really have much else to say regarding this bank, other than the fact that I'm tired of banking at a bank; I am looking to move to a credit union soon. They are more for the people than big banks are.

    This bank has been amazing to work with., November, 2016

    I ran into some issues with my bank and some charges coming out that were not authorized. I placed a hold on the charges, but they continued to come out. When I went to the bank about it, they were able and willing to investigate the issue and refund the money back to my bank account. The only issue that I had was that this process did take some time to complete but it is understandable because the issue had to be investigated and made sure that I was not going to be doing something with the account I shouldn't have. Since this day, they have been absolutely amazing to work with. I went so far as to transfer all my money from my other accounts with my other bank and bring all my business to them.

    My overall experience has been one of inconvenience., December, 2016

    My bank was acquired by Huntington bank so i had no part of the decision to bank here. Upon switching i found out that their policies regarding checking and savings accounts were different. We had problems with acquiring a new debit card, and activating it during the switch over. We never received any information from our new bank about what they offer just a letter stating that we had a new bank. The withdraw allowance rate for daily withdraws leaves something to be desired, and increasing the limit is a complete hassle. The only good things that i can think about this bank is that it is open seven days a week. Their banking hours also end at 12pm so you have an entire day to make deposits. Customer service is also very nice.

    This bnk is easy to use and does not have a lot of red tape, December, 2016

    This bank is a newer addition to my region. It is based out of Columbus Ohio, so it is not native to the city of Pittsburgh where I live. It competes with the likes of PNC, and other regional banks in the area. The green signage and logo makes it stand out in the market and in the downtown area, where their local headquarters is located. The bank offers all of the typical amenities you would expect from a bank. When I first opened my checking and savings account at this bank they did not have mobile deposit. I used to have to go to a physical branch to deposit my paychecks, However, two years ago the bank implemented the new mobile deposit policy and it has made my life much easier. The bank is a no frills place. You have your typical checking and savings accounts, but the customer representatives are very accommodating and friendly and the financial policies make the options available easy to understand. They send frequent monthly statements and are always quick to replace your debit card if an issue arises. The organization seems to run smoothly and I am very happy with this bank.

    My experience has been very positive overall., February, 2017

    I highly enjoy banking with Huntington. The tellers are always very nice, no matter which branch you go to, they are helpful and friendly and make you feel like they actually care about you. When I first set up my account, it was off County Line Rd in Greenwood, IN with a male manager (I didn't get his name) who helped me get it. He went above and beyond and the whole process took maybe half an hour at most. I still remember how friendly he was, even years later, so that says something. Also I really appreciate the ease of online banking and tracking my account and pending transactions. There is an app for it too, and almost everyone nowadays has smart phones so that's a big plus. I'd suggest to anyone considering banking with them to go ahead and do so, and my only advice is to get the overdraft protection (it is free). Just in case something goes through late. If you go below 0, they charge $37 a day until you get it above 0, and that can be problematic if you're a while away until pay day. My husband got caught up like that a long time ago but he also did not have overdraft protection. He was not able to pay it right away and the $37 fees stacked up, plus the overdraft itself, would have taken more than his whole check. So his account ended up getting frozen. But, the bank in itself and my experience with it personally, and the workers, has been positive. Just something to keep in mind, and I assume other banks have similar overdraft policies.
